Measure: 30 g of Isabgoal for 1 kg of gluten-free flour.
Instructions for use: soak the Isabgoal flakes in water or liquid (milk) according to your recipe. Simply soak for 10 minutes so that the Isabgold teguments swell and form a kind of gel to integrate into the gluten-free dough.

Isabgoal (or Plantago Ovata), native to India and its original name is “Plantain of India” is a seed derived from a plant called Planovate. These seeds have very beneficial properties for health, especially during constipation and diarrhea while facilitating the intestinal transit and balancing the acidity present in the stomach. These seeds have been used for many years in Ayurvedic as its positive effects are recognized. Beyond its health benefits, the Isabgoal which is reduced to powder, serves as a binder in the use of starchy meals (gluten-free) and aims to replace gluten and to allow different pasta -meals starchy-to be flexible, easily manageable and give them this shapeable and mellow texture, easy to work with. In fact, Isabgoal contains a gelatinous substance that forms a gel when soaked in water, thus becoming a binder.
